Cellular Energy Architecture to Secure Resilient Energy Supply for Critical Infrastructure

This technical article examines how cell-based energy architectures can significantly increase the supply security of critical infrastructures during blackouts and crisis scenarios. The focus is on the simulation and optimization tool LEC ENERsim, which serves as the base program for prioritizing critical loads, scenario analyses, and resilient operating strategies. HDC Solutions distributes and utilizes this platform under the brand name THORIUM for projects concerning the design and optimization of resilient energy systems.
