3 Companies, 1 Vision: What the HDC Group Makes Possible

Three specialists, one collaboration: Strong independently, even faster together. For smart solutions that truly work in practice.

Behind HDC are three names: Hohn, Diehl, Czasch. Three founders who come from the Bundeswehr and are now building companies.

The origin is a spin-off from the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. It all started with HDC Blueprints. In 2024, HDC Solutions was founded by Philipp Czasch, which led to the creation of the HDC Group. In July 2025, HDC Industries followed, founded by Jonas Diehl. HDC Blueprints continues to be led by Lukas Hohn.

Why is this important? Because this background has shaped a clear standard: speed, precision, and solutions that work. Today, this translates into three specialized companies that stand strong on their own and collaborate seamlessly when required. For all projects that must not fail.

The HDC Group – Specialization with Synergy

The HDC Group unites HDC Solutions, HDC Blueprints and HDC Industries. Each unit has its own focus, and that’s what makes the difference.
No single person can excel at everything. That’s why we rely on specialization. And instead of three separate projects, we create a joint solution when it makes sense for your endeavor: coordinated, compatible, and from a single source.

The result for you:

  • shorter paths

  • faster implementation

  • clear responsibilities

  • more speed without losing quality

Important here: All three companies operate independently in the market. With their own expertise, customers, and projects.
Collaboration within the HDC Group doesn’t happen as a matter of principle, but for one reason: because it makes your solution better, faster, cleaner, and more seamless.

In concrete terms: You get the full Group power when needed, and otherwise exactly the specialist your project truly requires.

Who Does What? The Three Roles in the HDC Group

To help you understand at a glance how we work together, here’s the clear division:

HDC Blueprints

your challenge is our passion.

Role in the Group: System and component supplier in additive manufacturing: components, assemblies, series production, including documentation, design, and post-processing.

Your customer benefit:

  • Fast parts

  • Clean quality

  • Standard-compliant delivery

  • From prototype to series

HDC Solutions

powering resilience in energy & mobility.

Role in the Group: Platform and system thinking: resilient energy systems, software-supported design, simulation, and optimization.

Your customer benefit:

  • More planning security

  • Better decisions

  • Systems that perform under pressure

HDC Industries

shaping complexity.

Role in the Group: Mechanical engineering & demanding mechanical solutions: design, simulation, manufacturing of complex assemblies.

Your customer benefit:

  • Implementation even where others stop

  • Precise, robust, realistic, feasible

What Role Does HDC Solutions Play in the HDC Group?

As HDC Solutions, we are the unit within the HDC Group that holistically plans resilient energy and mobility systems. With one clear goal: to keep critical and military relevant infrastructures operational under all conditions.

With our modular platform THORIUM, we design, simulate, and optimize energy systems so that risks become visible early, before they become a problem in operation.
We combine digital intelligence with physical innovation: from system design and scenario planning to components that enhance autonomy and efficiency in the overall system.

If a solution also requires precise components, assemblies, or mechanical engineering, we draw on the appropriate specialization within the Group—HDC Blueprints or HDC Industries. And if not, we deliver independently as HDC Solutions.

Why 'Under One Roof' Means More Than Just a Line in the Organizational Chart

For customers, 'under one roof' doesn’t just mean a shared brand. It primarily means one thing: less effort for more results.

  1. 1.

    Fewer interfaces
You don’t speak with three teams working in silos, but with a structure that interlocks.

  2. 2.

    More speed
When design, simulation, manufacturing, and implementation work together, fewer loops are created, and significantly more progress is made.

  3. 3.

    Clear responsibility
No passing on of problems or discussions about responsibilities, but a shared goal: a result that convinces you.

  4. 4.

    Scaling without chaos
From the first prototype to series production, the solution remains traceable, documented, and implementable without starting from scratch every time.

Conclusion

The HDC Group stands for specialization with teamwork: three companies, one vision, one shared result.
If you’re looking for smart solutions that truly make a difference, you’re in the right place with us.

Let’s talk if your project needs speed and still can’t afford compromises.
