This is the core of our partnership between HDC Solutions and LEC from Graz: Together, we create solutions to provide operators of critical and military energy and supply systems with security in an increasingly unstable world.

THORIUM for Maximum Supply Security

The modular software solution THORIUM is based on the LEC ENERsim simulation environment developed by LEC and is the new tool for energy resilience. It enables adaptive analysis and control of complex energy systems, from initial design to multidimensional real-time optimization.



The platform explicitly supports operators of security-critical facilities and military-relevant areas in making their infrastructure crisis-proof and efficient:

  • Adaptive autonomy models for different scenarios

  • Analysis and control of highly complex energy systems

  • Crisis-proof architecture for power outages, natural disasters, geopolitical tensions

  • Scalable & adaptable – from individual locations to networked systems



An application extension of the platform for military units in their operations and military camps is already in planning.
